Rules of Play

If you come across a player violating these rules, make sure to report them to a moderator. Make sure to take screen shots of such events.

Failure to follow these rules will result in warnings, temporary exclusion and permanent exclusion depending on the severity of the offense along with previous offenses.

Code of Conduct

1. We promote cooperative and sometimes competetive play, but not abusive behaviour.
2. When communicating in any way shape or form, you are responsible for yourself and your actions. 
3. Discriminating language and hate speech is highly inappropriate for a mature environment.
   
4. Disruptive behaviour that ruins the experience for your fellow players is taken seriously.
5. Threatening or harassing other players is unacceptable behaviour, regardless of language used. 
6. Names of anything that the players can name (Player characters, animal companions, guilds, etc...) are subject to the above rules.

1. Do not argue with the GM during a game past the point of her asking you to stop.
   
2. Your name on the forum must be the same as your name on discord and in roll20. All of these are easily editable.
3. Your character must be approved in order to be used.
4. We use Paizo Published content. No third party products are available.
   
5. A working microphone is optional, though some games are voice only so it would be to your advantage to get one.
   
6. Golarion deities and demi-gods are used.
7. We use these subsystem.
   
   • Downtime
     • Experience may not be earned through downtime.
   • Hero Points
     
     • Players may forgo hero points and take anti-hero for an extra feat, this is irrevocable.
   • Retraining
     
   • Hit Point retraining is unavailable.
   [li]Background Skills
   
8. Stamina and combat tricks are used through feat access.
9. Words of Power
   
   • A word of power is never counted as a spell for any purpose. Only a full combination of words that you can cast qualifies.

[/ul][/font][/li][li]Magic item creation is available with a few exceptions.

• You may not reduce the cost when crafting a magic item by adding restrictions or curses to it.
• Custom Magic Items must be approved here.
• All crafting must be recorded on the character thread.
• We do not use the Dynamic Magic Item Creation unchained rules.

[/li][li]We also use the unchained alternate crafting rules for mundane crafting.[/li][li]PC vs. PC rules.

• Before level 5 both players must agree to solve an in character conflict through violence.
• Starting at level 5 all player characters are open to solve in character conflicts through violence.

[/li][li]Sexual content is to be kept in private chat or games advertised as such.[/li][li]Technology level is Emerging Guns.
[/li][li]We do not use the rare cantrips.
[/li][li]Every settlement has a CL limit and a purchase limit. Any item of CL and price equal to or lower than this is readily available in that community. [/li][li]GMs run animal companions, summoned animals etc. as appropriate per handle animal rules.

• Exception to this is familiars, eidolons and intelligent summons (you still need to have a common language), these are controlled by the player.

[/li][li]Leadership and other feats and features that would copy or behave like it will never provide a mechanical advantage to the character that has the feat. This includes, but is not limited to: Crafting, following into sessions, trading wealth and providing free spellcasting.

• Cohorts may be played as a second character in separate sessions. They are still limited by the rules of the feat.
• Leadership requires written lore by the player that details how the organization works and why people follow her character.

[/li][li]All notable changes to your character shall be posted in that character's thread along with reference links to the sources where appropriate. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Rewards after a session
• Downtime used
• Retraining
• Crafting
  
• Purchases and Sales exceeding 100gp
  
• Trading

[/li][li]The forums hold a certain quality standard and as such we will be using as correct english as we are capable of. Small typos and misspellings are fine but excessive use of capital letters or 1337speak along with texting language is not acceptable.[/li][/ol]
